Is an Art Education Graduate Program based in NYC

Concentrating in Museum Study

I'm now a second-year graduate student majoring in Art Education with a concentration in museum track at Teachers College. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Art Education Program with an initial license and have a certificate in Art History. I'm an optimistic and passionate artist and educator who actively makes art in the studio. I have been working on my 2D and 3D projects for years in various mixing media. And I'm also a passionate photographer who focuses on shooting portraits.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on several meaningful art projects that have allowed me to grow and establish myself. By doing practicum and student teaching in K-12 schools in Madison, I gained significant teaching ability in art classes in authentic spaces by using various art education theories in the classroom. Within and beyond the classroom settings, I would like to be the bridge between the art world and art lovers to build a safe place for them to explore activism and dialogue in today’s discourse. My graduate study interest focuses more on using mindfulness words in the gamified design of tour guides in art museums to improve the self-tour immersive experience of visitors.

I hope you'll enjoy viewing my projects as much as I enjoyed working on them. So go ahead and explore, and don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to learn more.
