Paper Gallery

In this project, kindergarteners will explore the concept of gallery walls and learn that they can be decorated with art. They will be introduced to the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, whose signature use of polka dots will inspire them to create their polka dot art. By creating 3D paper sculptures using folding techniques, students will develop their fine motor skills and learn about the basic principles of sculpture. By the end of the project, they will have created their own mini gallery wall filled with their unique polka dot creations, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the power of art to transform space.
